How do the surveys work?

Now there’s a fast and easy way to turn those opinions into discounts and free stuff, all for answering a few short questions. Most surveys are location triggered, so by having your phone (and the app!) with you while enjoying your favorite restaurants and retail stores, you will receive surveys after your visits. Please note that not all visits will generate a survey.

How do I receive rewards for taking surveys?

The SurveyMini app has been designed to provide a variety of rewards to you for completing surveys. You may be awarded with points which you can use towards gift cards, or special offers to some of your favorite brands (e.g., dollars off, % off, free items). Your rewards will appear inside the SurveyMini wallet each time you complete a survey.

Why am I not receiving surveys?

Surveys are usually triggered as a result of a visit you made to a restaurant or retail store. If you’re not actively eating-out or shopping, you may not receive very many surveys.

If you are not receiving surveys, or your notification is telling you that you have surveys but you do not see them in the app, a possible explanation is that SurveyMini is lacking the necessary permissions to understand your location, and therefore trigger relevant surveys. To keep receiving SurveyMini surveys and to keep getting rewarded for your participation, please check the following:

On iPhone:
  1. Do you have Location Services enabled for SurveyMini (Settings > Privacy > Location Services > find SurveyMini)?
  2. Do you have Background App Refresh enabled for SurveyMini (Settings > General > Background App Refresh > find SurveyMini)?
  3. Is your iPhone running the most recent version of the SurveyMini app available in the App Store?
  4. Are you logged into your SurveyMini account?
On Android:
  1. Do you have Location Services enabled for your phone? (Settings > Location services)
  2. Is your phone running the most recent version of the SurveyMini app available in the Google Play Store?
  3. Are you logged into your SurveyMini Account?
